The slime before processing
Because of the disadvantages of high water content, high viscosity, high water holding capacity and low heating value, the slime is difficult to be applied for industrial applications.
1. The size is fine, and the fine particle content is high, especially the -200 mesh particles is in 70%~90%.
2. The ash content is high, the heating value is low. The slime can be divided into three kinds on the basis of the ash content and heating value. Low-ash slime is with the ash content of 20%~32%, the heating value of 12.5~20MJ/kg; medium-ash slime is with the ash content of 30%~55%, the heating value of 8.4~12.5MJ/kg; high-ash slime is with the ash content of >55%, the heating value of 3.5~6.3MJ/kg.
3. High viscosity. Because there are a few clay minerals, and the water content is high, the size is very small, so most of the slime is with high viscosity and a certain liquidity. Because of the above features, it is hard to pile, store and transport the slime. The slime does not only waste the valuable coal resources, but also cause serious pollution, and even restrict the normal production of coal washing plant. It is a difficult problem for the coal preparation plant.
Since the reform and opening, the national economy develops rapidly. And the capacity of coal has leaped to the world's top. The market situation has also undergone great changes. The depth and breadth of coal processing are developing rapidly, the slime production is obviously increased, and the comprehensive utilization of slime has become an urgent problem to be solved.
The slime after processing
With the continuous development of China's industrial technology, the left slime is re-used very well. The slime dryer replaced the technology of crushing and scattering firstly and then heat drying and made the continuous, industrial and automatic processing for slime.
The water content could be decreased from 25%~28% to about 12% by the slime drying processing. The process of per-crushing, scattering, anti-stick wall are absorbed into the slime drying technology. The slime drying efficient is improved greatly, which brought new vitality to the slime drying industry.
The slime after processed by drying technology could be used by the industrial furnace and residents lives as raw materials for coal slime; it is also could be used as the fuel of power plant casting industry for improving the fuel efficiency, decreasing the production cost and improving the economic benefits; it is used as the brick additives for improving the hardness and anti-pressure force of brick; it is used as add materials in cement plant for improving the performance of cement; besides, it can be used as chemical raw material when it with some specific ingredients of the slime.
